Hi everyone, I was recently prescribed Synthroid 0.1mg (100mcg) tablets for hypothyroidism. I've been taking them for a few weeks now and wanted to share my experience. So far, I haven't noticed any major side effects, but I did experience some hair loss initially, which my doctor said is common. I'm wondering if anyone else has had similar experiences or any advice on managing side effects? Also, how long did it take for you to feel the benefits? I'm curious to hear from others who have been on this medication for longer.

I had some mood swings when I started, but they evened out after a couple of weeks. Just be patient and give your body time to adjust.

I've been on Synthroid for about a year now, and it's been a game-changer. I finally feel like my old self again. Just make sure to take it at the same time every day and don't forget to get your thyroid levels checked regularly!

I hate taking pills, but Synthroid has made such a difference in my energy levels. It's worth it!

My doctor explained that proper dosage is key. Don’t rush this process. If you’re feeling off, let them know.

I had a really hard time with hair loss when I started. It was really frustrating, but mine grew back after a few months. Stick with it; it gets better.

Make sure to take it on an empty stomach or at least 4 hours before or after any other medication/food. I made that mistake and it took forever to get back on track. Also, I felt so much better 4-6 weeks in, so don’t lose hope!

I was worried about the long list of side effects, but honestly, I haven't had any issues. Just stay hydrated and listen to your body.
