Tabrecta 200mg Tablets: What to Expect from This Targeted Lung Cancer Treatment
I've just started taking Tabrecta 200mg tablets for my non-small cell lung cancer with MET exon 14 skipping. Has anyone else had experience with this medication? I'm curious about the side effects and how well it's worked for others. The potential side effects list is quite long, and the urgent ones are scary. I have a friend who had a really rough time with another targeted therapy, so I'm a bit nervous. Any tips on managing the side effects? Also, does anyone know if it's worth taking this medication given the possible side effects, especially the urgent ones? How do they weigh against the benefits? Does anyone know how long it takes to see if the treatment is working?

This really is a targeted therapy, so it might take a bit to see results, but you should feel better in terms of side effects over time.
How long does it generally take to see if Tabrecta is working? I've been worried about the side effects but I want to know if it's really effective.
Seriously, the urgent side effects are no joke. If you start feeling weird or have severe pain, get to the ER ASAP. Better safe than sorry.
Keep a side effect journal. It really helps to track when things happen and how bad they are. That way, you can give your doctor detailed info and they can adjust your treatment plan as needed.
