Hello all, I recently started taking Tagrisso 80mg for my EGFR-mutated lung cancer and I have a lot of questions about the side effects. I am particularly worried about the severe reactions, I know they are rare but I want to be prepared. I had a bad experience with nail changes. My nails became brittle and started changing color. The doctor prescribed something to help with that, and it got better over time. But my doctor was really good about it. Always available, and she explained everything in detail. Sorry to hear about your experience, though.

Thanks to my oncologist I did not have too much trouble with the side effects. That tagrisso is a life-saving treatment is the most important thing, and the side effects are a small price to pay. I just needed to manage them properly. It might be tough, but it's doable. For all the worrywarts out there, don't worry. It will be okay.

Don't let the side effects scare you. This medicine has been a lifesaver for me. I've had some issues with stomach pain and nausea, but it's all manageable. Here is the thing, you are better off with some side effects than being dead. Do you disagree?
