I've been taking Telmisartan 40mg Tablets for the past six months to manage my high blood pressure. So far, it's been effective, but I've experienced some side effects that I wasn't fully prepared for. The medication has been successful in lowering my blood pressure, which is great, but I've noticed some issues like stuffy nose and occasional back pain. I've also read about the potential for more serious side effects, which is a bit concerning. I'm curious to hear from others who have taken this medication—what side effects have you experienced? Have any of you had to deal with more severe symptoms like dizziness or fainting? And how did you handle them?

I've been on Telmisartan for a while and it's been great for my blood pressure, but I did experience some dizziness at first. It went away after a few weeks, so don't be too alarmed if you have it.

I've had a tough time with back pain and sinus issues. I'm still in the early stages, so maybe it will get better? Fingers crossed.

I'm on Telmisartan and so far, no side effects. Knock on wood, but my blood pressure is much better. I'm a bit worried about the potential for kidney problems, though. Anyone else dealing with that?

I've been on Telmisartan for about a year now, and I've experienced some swelling in my arms and legs. It's not too bad, but it's noticeable. I talked to my doctor about it, and he said it's a known side effect and to keep an eye on it. Also, be careful with high potassium foods if you are experiencing the symptoms discussed earlier.

I started taking Telmisartan last year and haven't had many issues, just a bit of a stuffy nose. I'm glad to hear it's working for you! I did have some kidney concerns at first, so my doctor ordered some tests, but thankfully everything was fine.

I think I'm going to ask my doctor about switching meds. I've had a bit of diarrhea and it's been pretty uncomfortable.

People really need to be cautious with Telmisartan. Kidney problems are no joke. Regular blood tests are a must.

When I started Telmisartan, I felt super dizzy and lightheaded. My doctor said it could happen and to just give it time. I'm on week 12 and I feel normal again.

I had to stop taking Telmisartan because it caused really high potassium levels in my blood. If you experience any weird symptoms, see your doctor right away.
