I've been prescribed Terazosin 1mg Capsules for my enlarged prostate, but I'm really worried about the possible side effects. I've read that it can cause life-threatening allergic reactions and other serious issues. Has anyone else taken this medication and experienced severe side effects? Or maybe you have some tips to manage the more common ones like dizziness? I could use some real-world insights. Thanks!

I've been on Terazosin for a few months now, and I haven't had any severe side effects. I did experience some dizziness at first, but it went away after a week. Just be careful when you first start taking it, and make sure to talk to your doctor if anything worrying comes up.

Be careful with this one, I had a really bad reaction to it and had to stop taking it. My doctor switched me to a different medication and I've been fine since then. I would say if you're worried about side effects, don't wait – get in touch with your doctor as soon as possible.

I have a friend who took Terazosin and had a really bad experience. I don't think it's worth the risk. But, honestly, everyone's different, so it might not be the same for you. Just be careful and do your own research!

I think it's a great medication, I haven't had any issues. Also, my doctor said that side effects are usually mild and go away on their own. He said they could also be due to other pre-existing conditions or medication interactions. But basically, don't let the potential side effects scare you from taking it if you need it.
