I've been prescribed Testosterone 1.62% gel for low testosterone levels, but I'm a bit nervous about the side effects and how to apply it correctly. Has anyone else used this gel? How did you deal with the application and potential risks like transferring it to others? I'm especially worried about the serious side effects mentioned. It seems these risks are uncommon, but they're scary. Did your doctor give you more details on these side effects and when you should expect them to appear? Has anyone experienced any of the side effects listed? If so, how did you and your doctor handle them? I'm looking for any real-life experiences or tips to help manage this treatment.

I've been on this gel for a few months now, and it's made a huge difference in my energy levels and mood. Just remember to wash your hands afterward and cover the area after application. You can do it safe and effectively; just take your time and read the instructions carefully.

I had some irritation at the application site at first, but it went away after a week or so. Just keep an eye on it and if it gets worse, talk to your doctor. Also, try to apply it to a less visible area just in case.

This stuff is a life saver! My libido is back to normal and I feel great. Just be careful and follow the instructions. You'll be fine!

Be very careful with kids and pets around. I made the mistake of not washing my hands properly and my daughter got some on her. It was scary, but we caught it early and she's fine now. Make sure to cover the area as soon as possible to prevent transfer.

I was really worried about the blood clot symptoms at first, but my doctor assured me they're quite rare. Just be aware and if you notice anything unusual, get it checked out. Better safe than sorry, right?

I thought about using the patches instead, but they're way more expensive and seem less convenient. The gel is a bit messy, but not too bad.
