Thalomid 200mg Capsules 28s - Has anyone experienced severe side effects from taking Thalidomide?
I've been prescribed Thalomid 200mg for my multiple myeloma and I'm a bit worried about the potential side effects. I've read the list and some of them are pretty scary. Has anyone here had experience with this drug? If so, how did you manage any side effects and what were they like? I'm especially concerned about the risk of blood clots and heart issues. Any insights or advice would be greatly appreciated.

I had some pretty severe side effects, but the worst was definitely the risk of blood clots. I ended up with a DVT. Thankfully, I caught it early, but it was a scary experience. Make sure to talk to your doctor about blood-thinning medications.
Has anyone tried exercising regularly while on this medication? I’m wondering if that would help with fatigue and muscle pain.
I’ve been on this for a couple of months and I’m feeling OK so far. I know the side effects can be bad, but I’ve had mostly just fatigue and dizziness. Make sure to take it at night so you can sleep through the dizziness.
This drug is a game-changer for me. I was suffering from severe skin problems due to leprosy, and this has been a lifesaver. The side effects are tough, but they’re manageable. Just stay in touch with your doctor and keep an eye on any potential issues.
I had to stop taking it. The side effects were way too much for me. I got severe dizziness and my legs felt like lead. I'm sure it would work for some but I felt this was worse than helpful. Also I was getting low calcium levels, and that's when I knew I could not take this anymore.
