I was prescribed Thalomid 150mg capsules for my multiple myeloma and I've had a few questions and concerns pop up. Does anyone know if the side effects are manageable? Given the severity of the potential side effects, I'm a bit nervous to get started. Can anyone share their experience? Also, I'm curious how many people have dealt with the nerve damage and blood clots mentioned in the warning? I've heard it's rare, but I want to be prepared. Lastly, does anyone know if these side effects go away after stopping the medication?

I'm so glad I found this thread. I was just prescribed Thalomid and was really worried about the side effects. Thanks for sharing your experiences!

I had some bad constipation and had to double down on my fiber intake. Just be prepared for that. And honestly, watch out for the nerve pain. It's a bitch.

Does anyone know if there are any alternative medications that have fewer side effects? I'm really worried about the severe reactions.

Be very careful with this drug. I had a bad reaction and ended up in the hospital with blood clots. It was scary.

Just remember, everyone's experience is different. What one person experiences might not be what you experience. Stay positive and hopeful!

I had to stop taking Thalomid because of the nerve damage. It was really tough, but my doctor switched me to a different medication.

I've been on Thalomid for a few months now and the side effects haven't been too bad for me. Just some dizziness and drowsiness, but nothing I can't handle. Hang in there!
