Can anyone who takes Paliperidone ER 9mg Tablets for schizophrenia or schizoaffective disorder share their experience? I've been taking it for a few months now, and I'm curious how others are finding it. I'm managing the side effects so far, but the extended release feature feels nice. Also, are there any tips for dealing with the side effects like weight gain and dizziness?

Honestly the tablet shell in your stool is not a big deal. It’s a slow-release formula, so it just means your body is working the way it should.

I wonder how many people actually experience the rare side effects listed? It’s scary to think about neuroleptic malignant syndrome and all the other potentially life-threatening issues. Also, who else has noticed the tablet shell visible in stool? It freaked me out at first but seems like it's just a normal thing for this med.

I’ve been on Paliperidone ER for six months now, and while it's helped a lot with my symptoms, the weight gain is really tough. I've had to start an intense exercise routine and cut out all the processed foods. The dizziness is manageable for me, but I'm really concerned about the potential long-term effects of extended use, especially the metabolic issues. Anyone know if there are any long-term studies on this?

I've just started taking Paliperidone ER and it's really helped with my symptoms. No more daytime sleepiness, and my hallucinations have become a distant memory. Plus, the once-a-day dose is a lifesaver. But nothing is perfect, and the dizziness gets bad sometimes. Anyone have any tips for avoiding the dizziness?

I think the most concerning part is the potential for prolonged QT interval and all the side effects it brings. Just a warning, if you're starting to feel a fast or irregular heartbeat, get to a doctor immediately.

I really wish there was more info on the long-term effects. Anyone else feel like we need more studies on this?

It's insane how much easier the once-a-day dose has made it to manage my schizophrenia. No more constant trips to the pharmacy. Plus the side effects are worth it if it means being able to function normally. Just make sure you monitor your blood sugar.

I’m on my third week now and so far so good. I don’t feel much different in terms of symptoms but having a once-a-day dose really helps. A bit of dizziness but nothing a quick nap can’t handle.

My doctor told me that the metabolic side effects can be so bad with this drug, especially things like weight gain and high blood sugar. He recommended a low-carb diet and regular check-ups. Worth it to monitor your health.

I've been on Paliperidone ER for about a year now, and it's been a bit of a rollercoaster. The extended-release feature is awesome because I only have to take it once a day and I sleep well. The side effects were a bit tough at first, especially the weight gain. I had to make some serious dietary changes just to get back on track. I am taking a multivitamin as well to combat any potential vitamin and mineral deficiencies, but I'm still trying to get a handle on the dizziness. I'm curious if anyone else has found any strategies to manage that.
