Hello everyone, I've been prescribed Theophylline 80mg/15ml Oral Solution for my COPD. It's been a few weeks, and I've noticed some changes. The medicine definitely helps open up my airways, making breathing easier. However, I've been experiencing some side effects like upset stomach and trouble sleeping. I'm wondering if anyone else has had similar experiences or if there are any tips to manage these side effects. Also, I'm curious if the long-term effects are worth the short-term discomfort. Look forward to hearing from others who have used this medication.

I had a really bad reaction to Theophylline. I started feeling extremely dizzy and confused, and my heartbeat was all over the place. I had to rush to the ER, and they told me to stop taking it immediately. It was scary, but better safe than sorry.

I've been on Theophylline for years and it's been life-changing. The side effects are minor compared to the relief it gives me. Just make sure to stay hydrated and eat regularly to minimize the issues.

I've been on this for a year now and it's been okay. I've had some diarrhea and frequent urination but that's about it. It's manageable, and I'd rather have those side effects than not be able to breathe properly.

I'm glad I found this thread. I was really hesitant to start this medication, but hearing everyone's experiences has been really helpful. Thanks for sharing!

Did anyone else notice a fruity smell in their breath? I've read about it as a sign of high blood sugar, but I'm not sure if it's just the Theophylline or something else.

I tried Theophylline for my asthma, but it just didn't work out for me. I ended up switching to a different medication, and it's been much better. Everyone's different, so it's all about finding what works best for you.
