I've been recently diagnosed with epilepsy and my neurologist suggested trying Fycompa 8mg Tablets to manage my seizures. The medication seems promising as it targets specific brain chemicals to reduce seizure frequency. However, I've seen some alarming side effects listed, including serious allergic reactions, confusion, hallucinations, and even signs of liver or kidney problems, which are pretty scary. I'm also seeing complaints about dizziness and fatigue. I want to hear from others who have tried this medication – Are the side effects as bad as they seem? What can I expect from this medicine? Is it worth the risks? Any advice to deal with the side effects? I'm looking for some real experiences and tips before I start my treatment.

I'm scared of the side effects, but I'm desperate for something to help with my seizures.

I had a really bad experience with Fycompa. The hallucinations were terrifying, and I ended up in the ER. My doctor took me off it right away. Everyone's different, but be prepared for the worst and hope for the best.

I took Fycompa for a few months and the fatigue was so bad there was no way I could work. So I'm back on Keppra for now. I miss how well Fycompa controlled my seizures, but the fatigue was unbearable.

I had to stop Fycompa because I started having memory problems, such as forgetting where I put things and even forgetting conversations. I hope you have a better experience!
