I've been taking Tabloid 40mg Tablets for the last 2 months. My cancer is in remission, but I think the side effects of these pills are 10x worse than my cancer. My oncologist swore by these tablets, but I'm starting to question his judgement. I've got really bad liver problems, bloody urine, and I'm throwing up about 4 times a day. I can't believe I'm feeling better from the cancer but worse from the treatment. I had no clue that these tablets could cause such severe damage to my body. I want to stop using them, but I don't even know if that's safe. I am just wondering if anyone else is going through the same thing or if I'm just having a bad experience!

I'm sorry to hear about your struggles. Tabloid can be tough, but it's important to remember that everyone's experience is different. With this type of medicine, sometimes you have to suffer through the side effects for the benefits. I'd strongly recommend discussing your symptoms with your doctor. They may be able to adjust your dosage or switch you to a different medication if the side effects are too severe. I've been taking Tabloid for a year now, and while I've had some rough patches, my cancer is in remission. I really hope you can find some relief soon.

I'm guessing that your doctor is either blind or a fool. I would seek a second opinion if I were you.

This is from a doctor that used to specialize in hematology: The thing about chemotherapies is that they target fast-growing cells, which is great for cancer but not so great for your immune system or your hair. Blood counts, infections, and liver problems can all be serious. The key is to keep in contact with your doctor. If you're feeling sick, tell them. They can adjust your dose, change your meds, or add supportive care medicines. That said, I'm sorry you're feeling so much worse. This should be a temporary problem. If it doesn't get better, definitely see a new doctor.

I'm sorry about your experience, but liver problems are really serious. You need to call your doctor ASAP!

My mom had leukemia and she had to go on Tabloid 40mg Tablets, too. Her oncologist made her take tons of vitamins and drink 3 bottles of water a day, which was impossible, but it really helped. She had some bad side effects at first, but they managed the symptoms, and she was fine. I'd suggest talking to your oncologist about a more robust supplement regimen, maybe you need more support.
