I've been prescribed Thiotepa 100mg Injection for my ovarian cancer treatment. I'm curious to hear from others who have used this chemotherapy drug. How have you managed the side effects, and what were the most challenging parts of your experience? I've read about potential liver problems, so I'm especially concerned about that. Also, how does it compare to other chemo drugs? Any insights or advice would be greatly appreciated.

I feel bad for anyone going through this. Stay strong. You can beat this.

I've been on Thiotepa for a few cycles now. The nausea was tough at first, but my doctor helped manage it with medications. The biggest challenge for me was the fatigue—it was so debilitating. Just take it one day at a time and listen to your body.

I saw some pretty scary side effects listed. Was anyone ever hospitalized because of this drug? I'm scared and need some reassurance.

I had some pretty severe mouth sores during my treatment. My advice is to use a soft toothbrush and be gentle when brushing. Also, your doctor can prescribe some mouth rinse to help with the pain of the sores. It's also important to stay hydrated.

Thiotepa can be pretty intense, but it's important to remember that everyone's experience is different. My oncologist monitored my liver function closely, and I never had any major issues. Stay in touch with your healthcare team and don’t hesitate to voice any concerns you have. Much of the fear is not knowing and it's a really good idea to ask questions about side effects.
