I've been prescribed Thiothixene 10mg capsules to help manage my schizophrenia symptoms. I'm curious to hear from others who have taken this medication. How have you found it to work? What side effects have you experienced, and how did you manage them? I'm particularly interested in hearing about any unexpected or severe side effects, as well as any tips for minimizing the more common ones. I've experienced some drowsiness and stomach issues, but I'm hoping to find ways to mitigate these. Additionally, I'd love to hear from healthcare professionals or anyone with insight into the long-term effects and the potential for tardive dyskinesia.

I've been on Thiothixene for about a year now, and it's been a lifesaver for managing my hallucinations and delusions. I did experience some weight gain and changes in appetite, but my doctor helped me manage this with diet and exercise adjustments. It's definitely a trial and error process, but stick with it and communicate openly with your healthcare provider.

I had to discontinue Thiothixene because of worsening side effects. I started experiencing severe dizziness, and my coordination was off. I was really scared at the time. Now, I'm on a different medication, but I wish there were more resources or guidelines to help navigate these challenging decisions.

Thiothixene 10mg capsules have been pretty good to me. I've read about the risk of tardive dyskinesia, which is scary, but my doctor assures me that if I use the medication responsibly, I minimize the risk. I've gotten used to feeling a bit drowsy, but it's a small price to pay for the relief it brings. Just make sure you talk to your doctor if you experience any issues.

I've had mixed experiences. I was on a different medication before this, and it helped manage my hallucinations, but Thiothixene has been working well for my delusions. I've had some side effects, but it's worth it to feel stable.

I tried Thiothixene for a month, but the side effects were too much for me. I had strange, uncontrolled body movements and dizziness. It was awful. I switched to another medication, and it's been much better.

I don't understand why there aren't more alternatives for schizophrenia. There are handful medications but they each have crazy serious side effects. The change in appetite isn't too bad, but the stuff is can be life-threatening.

I've been on Thiothixene for a couple of months to manage my schizophrenia symptoms. I've noticed some changes in my appetite and some weight gain but nothing bad. I'm just glad it's working for me.

I've been on this medication for a while, and I'm curious about the long-term effects. Anyone know if there are studies on what happens after years of use?

I hope this is the wrong place to ask, but what about combining this with CBD oil? There are so many claims around CBD, but I'm still unsure about it. I hear it helps with mental clarity, but is it safe with tiothixene?

Seriously, the side effects are no joke. I had to stop taking Thiothixene after a few weeks because I started feeling extremely weak and had difficulty moving. It was a rough time, but I'm glad I spoke up to my doctor about it.
