I've been prescribed Nora-Be 0.35mg Tablets 28s as a birth control option and I'm curious to hear from others who have used it. This pill contains only one hormone, norethindrone, and works by thickening cervical mucus, preventing eggs from being released, and changing the uterus lining. I have to take it at the same time every day, which seems manageable, but I'm a bit concerned about the side effects listed. Urgent side effects like allergic reactions, liver problems, and blood clots are particularly alarming. Has anyone else experienced severe reactions? What about the more common side effects like headaches or mood changes? Any tips or anecdotes would be greatly appreciated. Also, what should I do if I miss a dose or take it at a different time?.

Joked with my doc about the birth control pill and I told him it better be like a magical potion. I mean, heck, why not?

I actually lost a few pounds when I started taking Nora-Be. Don't know if it was a coincidence but it was a nice side effect for me. I had tried other birth controls but this one has worked for me so far

I thought my skin would break out like it did with other birth controls, but Nora-Be has been actually good to me. I've seen a decrease in acne, which is a big plus. I’ve always been super cautious about blood clots and other scary side effects, so far so good though.

I switched to Nora-Be after having issues with combination pills. Biggest tip: set an alarm for the same time every day. Additionally, make sure to keep a few extras tablets handy if you're going on vacation or traveling. The side effects I noticed were minor, mostly just some headaches and tender breasts, but nothing unbearable.

I've heard some people get really bad migraines and headaches. But I had heard these days there might be a new version of the pill that might make these symptoms negligible.

Has anyone else noticed changes in their menstrual cycle? I've been spotting more than usual, and it's a bit concerning. Is this normal or something I should talk to my doctor about?
