I've been recently prescribed Theophylline 300mg ER Tablets for my COPD. I've read the list of possible side effects and I'm a bit nervous. I know it helps open up the airways, but the potential for severe reactions is scary. Has anyone else had good or bad experiences with this med? My doctor told me they'll monitor my blood levels regularly to avoid issues, but I am looking to learn from others' experiences.

One thing that helped me was keeping a log of my symptoms and side effects to discuss with my doctor. It made managing the meds much easier.

Severe dizziness and fainting with Theophylline can be serious. If you experience this, get medical help right away.

I've been on Theophylline for years. It's a lifesaver for my asthma, but yeah, the side effects can be rough. I've had muscle cramps and a fast heartbeat before, but my doctor adjusted the dose and it's been fine since. Blood tests are a pain, but they're worth it.

I wish more people talked about the weird, nervous feeling it gives me. Almost like jitters from too much caffeine.

I take Theophylline and it's helped a lot with my breathing. Just make sure to take it consistently and don't skip doses. Blood tests are annoying but necessary.

I've heard that some people experience a lot of nausea and vomiting. Definitely talk to your doctor if that happens. I take my dose at night so it helps me sleep better.

Just a heads up, the stomach upset can be pretty bad at first. Ginger tea helped me a lot with that.
