I was recently prescribed Thrombin-Jmi 5000iu Powder Top Sol after a minor surgery to help control bleeding. I was surprised by how quickly it worked but also concerned about the potential side effects. Has anyone else used this medication? I'd love to hear about your experiences, especially regarding any side effects you might have encountered. The list of possible side effects is quite long, and it's a bit intimidating. I've been keeping a close eye on any signs of infection or allergic reactions, as suggested. Any insights or tips on managing these risks would be greatly appreciated!

Wow, that sounds terrifying. I used it after a car accident, and it stopped the bleeding so fast I didn't even see it. I was impressed. I didn't have any side effects, but I was really lucky, I think. It's surprising how effective it is, but those side effects are nasty.

I had a bad experience with Thrombin. I developed a rash and had trouble breathing. Luckily, I was in the hospital, so they caught it quickly. Make sure to inform your doctor immediately if you experience any of the severe side effects listed.

I had a similar experience. The doctor applied it directly to the wound, and the bleeding stopped almost instantly. It was a bit scary at first, but it worked wonders.

I only had the topical version but still got a reaction. I felt really tired after the procedure but did not get any chest pains or any serious signs of an infection. Just make sure you're monitored closely if you're using it.

I didn't know there were so many potential side effects. I had to take it after a surgery to stop a bleed and never felt any of these. Now I worry, but at least I have a heads up on what to look for. My friend thought it was super effective but I need to be careful.

I had a mild infection after using Thrombin. I had a minor cut on my leg, and the doctor applied it. I had a fever and chills for a few days. I never thought it could cause an infection, but it did. I was scared that it would develop into something more severe.

I work in a hospital and have seen this used quite a bit. It's amazing how it can stop bleeding so fast, but you have to be really careful with it. Make sure to report any sensations of an allergic reaction right away. The last thing you want is to panic, but you should be extra vigilant.
