Thyroid (Armour) 0.25gr (15mg) Tabs: My Experience and Questions
I was recently prescribed Thyroiderm (Armour) 0.25gr (15mg) Tabs for my underactive thyroid and I'm feeling a mix of hope and anxiety. I feel like I've done all the research possible, but I'm still concerned, have any of you experienced the same? I've been trying to balance the dosages and deal with the side effects and it's a bit overwhelming. Does anyone have tips on managing these side effects and how to know if it's working? How long did it take for you to feel better? Also, I'd love to hear any success stories or words of encouragement! And to get more info on how it works: how will I know if it's working?

My doc threatened to take me off if it didn't work so I stuck with it and I'm glad I did. It's not a miracle cure but I do feel a lot better now!
I took Armour for a while and then switched back to levothyroxine. I think everyone is different, so don't be afraid to advocate for what works for you! Start with the right dose.
I've had a few issues with constipation, but upping my fiber intake helped a lot. Also, drink plenty of water! Good luck, it's a journey but worth it.
Armour has been a lifesaver for me. I had no idea how bad I felt until I started feeling better. Trust the process and give it time.
I had terrible muscle cramps at first, but my doctor adjusted my dose and it went away. If you're struggling, talk to your doc about tweaking your dose. Mine was 0.25gr.
I've been on Armour for a few months now and it's been a game-changer. My energy levels are back to normal, but I did have some hair loss initially. It went away after a couple of months. Stick with it, it gets better!
