Thyroid, Desiccated 1gr (60mg) Tablets: What You Need to Know
I recently started taking Thyroid 1gr (60mg) Tablets for hypothyroidism, and I must say, it's improved my energy levels significantly. I've seen a lot of information out there, but I'm curious about other people's experiences and side effects. It seems that the vast majority of side effects are mild, but the urgent side effects are a little concerning. Has anyone experienced any of the urgent side effects listed? I'm also interested in knowing how long it took for the medication to start working for others. I noticed some improvement after a couple of weeks, but I'm eager to hear about other timelines. Additionally, I've heard that hair loss is a common side effect, but how temporary is it? Is there anything I can do to mitigate it?

I think these tablets are great, but you must get regular blood tests to monitor your hormone levels. My doctor has adjusted my dosage a few times based on test results, and I feel much better.
I've been on synthetic thyroid medication before, so I know the difference. With Thyroid 1gr (60mg) Tablets, I feel like my body is responding better. Plus, I prefer natural medications if possible.
I strongly recommend keeping a detailed journal of your symptoms and side effects. It can be really helpful when discussing your progress with your doctor. If you feel like something's wrong, then trust your instincts and get checked out.
You're right, the urgent side effects can be scary. I've had a couple of friends who experienced allergic reactions, but thankfully, they sought medical help right away.
It's good to hear that others have seen improvements in their energy levels. I've only been on the tablets for a week and haven't noticed much change yet, but I'm hoping it kicks in soon.
I've been taking these tablets for about a month now, and I've lost about 10 pounds and have more energy than ever. I just want to say to those who are new to these tablets, keep at it. It does get better, and I'm a firm believer in finding the right balance of taking your medication, eating well, and exercising.
I've been on these tablets for about three months now, and they've been a game-changer for my energy levels and overall well-being. I had mild side effects initially, like diarrhea and headaches, but they subsided after a few weeks.
I think it's good to mention that while hair loss can be temporary, it can also be permanent. For some people, it's really distressing. My doctor just joked that everybody is different - so we all have to figure out how to handle the side effects ourselves.
I know this sounds funny, but one of the only side effects I have noticed is I can't stop talking about the difference in my mood. I mean, I'm kind of annoying about it now, but I'm happier and more energetic than I've been in a long time.
