I was recently diagnosed with Thyroid Eye Disease (TED) and started treatment with Tepezza. It's given by intravenous (IV) infusion and works by blocking a specific protein involved in the inflammation and changes in the eye that happen with TED. So far, I've noticed some reduction in bulging eyes and double vision, but I'm concerned about the potential side effects. Has anyone else tried Tepezza and had a similar experience? What side effects did you encounter, and how did you manage them? I need to understand what I might be facing. For those who have undergone Tepezza treatment: Did your doctors monitor your blood sugar levels frequently? I'm also very anxious about the ones that could be life-threatening, especially the hearing loss.

I'm really glad to hear most people are seeing some improvement. I've heard some horror stories in the support group I'm part of. My doctor should be there during the infusion, right? Never want to be alone if something goes wrong.

I had changes in my menstrual cycle while on Tepezza. It was unsettling, but my doctor said it should return to normal after stopping the treatment. I'm also watching my blood sugar levels closely; it's important to be vigilant with this medication.

I had this weird metallic taste in my mouth after each infusion. Really gross, but my doctor said it's a known side effect and should go away after treatment. I'm just glad it's not something more serious.

I'm really scared of the hearing loss side effect. Has anyone experienced this? My doctor said it's rare, but I can't stop thinking about it. How can I be sure my hearing is okay after treatment?
