I recently started taking Tiagabine 2mg Tablets for partial seizures and I'm curious to hear from others who have experience with this medication. How effective has it been for you? Have you experienced any side effects, and if so, how have you managed them? I'd love to hear your thoughts and advice, especially regarding the potential for serious side effects like allergic reactions, changes in balance, or suicidal thoughts. Let's share our experiences and support each other.

It's worked wonders for me, but I've had to deal with some flu-like symptoms. Nothing too bad, just a bit of muscle pain and feeling weak. I just power through it. Stick through the difficulties, for me it was worth it.

I had some red, swollen, blistered skin the first week so I had to contact my doctor. I feel so lucky that I didn't get more serious side effects. I got really scared and I had to stop using the meds for a while but my doctor assured me that it was normal. I'm glad I switched to a different prescription.

I had horrible trouble sleeping for the first few weeks. I couldn't focus on anything. My doctor recommended taking it earlier in the day, and that helped a lot. Also, make sure to stay hydrated, it can cause some dehydration if you're not careful

There has been a significant improvement in seizure control since I started using Tiagabine 2mg. I have to be cautious because my balance got messed up for a few days but it is better now. I had the feeling of being confused but it was minimal. Overall, it's worth it for the seizure control I'm getting.

I've been on Tiagabine for a year, it's a life-changer. I went from multiple seizures a week to maybe one every few months. It's been a game-changer for my quality of life. Just make sure to take it with food; otherwise, you might get an upset stomach.

Just started Tiagabine and already feeling really nervous and excitable. Is this normal? Anyone else experience this?

I can't believe some of these side effects! Maybe I'm just lucky, but I haven't experienced any of the serious ones. Just a bit of dizziness here and there. Fingers crossed it stays that way.
