I recently started taking Tiazac 180mg Extended Release Capsules for my high blood pressure and angina. The medication seems to be working well, but I've read about some concerning side effects. As a precaution, I think it's good to be aware of the potential risks. Can anyone share their experience with this medication? Both positive experiences and any potential issues would be helpful. How long does it typically take to see improvements in blood pressure? And for those who have experienced side effects, how severe and how long did they last?

I am allergic to almost everything, so I was a bit nervous before starting Tiazac, but I haven't had any major issues. Just some mild tiredness, but it's manageable.

I couldn't tolerate Tiazac. I developed a severe rash and swelling in my throat. It was terrifying. I had to go to the ER, and turns out I was having an allergic reaction. I've had a hard time finding the right medication for me since then.

Definitely consult your doctor if you're feeling unusually tired or weak. I had to lower my dosage because the side effects were too intense. Now I feel much better.

Make sure to take it at the same time every day. Consistency helps maintain even levels in your system and minimizes side effects.

It's crucial to monitor your blood pressure while on this medication. I had to adjust my dosage and add a secondary medication to get my blood pressure under control.

Don't forget to report any severe side effects to the FDA. Safety monitoring is important for everyone, especially if you find out you're allergic to it.

Has anyone experienced severe dizziness or fainting? I'm curious about how others handle those symptoms.

If you're on Tiazac and planning to get pregnant, talk to your doctor first. Some medications can interact with pregnancy in unexpected ways.
