Tigan Injections: My Experience with Tremendous Side Effects
I was prescribed Tigan (Trimethobenzamide) injections to combat severe nausea after a round of chemotherapy. The drug was quickly effective in stopping the vomiting, but the side effects were horrendous. Within hours, I started experiencing severe dizziness, shakiness, and muscle cramps. I even had episodes of blurred vision and confusion. I had to stop taking it after a few days and I'm now using other remedies. I'd like to know if anyone has had a similar experience or knows of any remedies or tips to manage these side effects.

I know someone who had a similar reaction and they ended up switching to an anti-emetic patch. It worked for them. Might be worth looking into?
I’m not a doctor, but from what I’ve read, the liver problems can be really serious. Make sure you’re monitoring for dark urine and yellow skin. Definitely worth mentioning to your doctor.
I'm so sorry to hear about your experience. I had a similar reaction to Tigan. My doctor switched me to Zofran, which has been much easier to handle.
I want to turn pale and choke and faint from what you experienced—these side effects sound horrifying. Let’s hope your doctor can find something else for you soon.
