Tizanidine 2mg Tablets: My Experience and Questions about Side Effects
I recently started taking Tizanidine 2mg tablets for muscle spasms due to my MS, and while they've helped with the stiffness and spasms, I've been experiencing some mild side effects, like dizziness and dry mouth. I was wondering if anyone else has had similar experiences or knows of any tips to manage these side effects. The list of potential side effects is a bit scary, but my doctor assured me that most people only experience minor ones. I'm curious to know if anyone has had any of the more severe ones listed, and if so, how they were handled.
I've been taking Tizanidine for about a month now, and while I've had some mild side effects, I've also noticed that my muscle spasms have significantly improved. I'm curious to know if anyone else has had a similar experience with this medication. I was also wondering if anyone has had any experience with the more severe side effects listed, like allergic reactions or liver problems, and how they were handled.

I wish my insurance covered Tizanidine. It's so expensive! I have to pay out of pocket, and it's killing my wallet. But it works so well, I can't stop taking it.

Dry mouth is the worst. I keep a water bottle with me all the time. I'd rather deal with that than the spasms, though. It's a trade-off.
I had no idea this stuff could cause hallucinations. I had a friend who took it and started seeing things. Scary stuff.
I had a bad reaction to this stuff. I woke up with my heart feeling really slow, and it was super scary. I had to go to the ER and they told me to stop taking it. Be careful, y'all.
I had some really bad hallucinations when I first started taking this stuff. My doctor switched me to a lower dose, and I've been fine since. Be careful and listen to your body.
