I recently started taking Tolterodine Tartrate 2mg Tablets for my overactive bladder and I wanted to share my experience with you all. Thankfully, the medication has significantly reduced my frequent urination and urge to go. However, I have been experiencing some side effects that I wasn't expecting. I've been feeling dizzy and sleepy quite a bit, which is making it hard to focus at work. I've also been dealing with dry mouth and constipation. I was wondering if anyone else has experienced these side effects and if you have any tips to manage them. The concern for serious side effects like trouble passing urine and changes in eyesight is definitely something I'm keeping an eye on. On the positive side, my bladder is actually holding more urine which is great. Has anyone else experienced positive results like that too?

I think this medication has been a real game-changer for me. I went from having to go every hour to every 2-3 hours, and the urgency is much more manageable. I have some dry mouth, but I'm getting used to it.

I've been on this for a while and the dry mouth is a killer. I keep a bottle of water with me all the time now. As for the constipation, adding more fiber to my diet helped a lot. Also, taking it in the evening helped me with the dizziness and sleepiness. But yeah, it's a tradeoff.

I've had a similar experience with the dizziness and sleepiness, but my doctor said it usually goes away after a few weeks. Just keep an eye on those serious side effects, though.

I had a severe allergic reaction to it, which is scary considering the potential life-threatening side effects. I had to go to the ER. Please be careful!

I've heard that drinking lots of water can help with the constipation, but it didn't work for me. Just be prepared for some discomfort.
