I recently started using Topicort 0.25% Cream 60gm for my eczema, and I've seen some improvement, but I'm also experiencing some side effects. The burning and itching where I applied it are getting pretty annoying and I'm starting to worry if this is going to be effective. Has anyone else had similar experiences, or am I just being too sensitive to it? I'm trying to understand if it's worth the discomfort...

I used to use it and noticed that my hands were turning thinner, which was scary. It's not worth the risk, my doctor thought so too.

I'm just going to stick to my hydrocortisone. It's a much better option if Topicort is giving you grief.

Topicort is great but sometimes it might cause your skin to thin. Been there. Make sure not to use on your face. Always consult a doctor before using any new cream

I swear by this stuff for eczema, but I've also heard it can cause high blood sugar. I had it for a few days but stopped because I got a bad rash. Not sure it's for everyone.

I had to switch to a different cream because I got a rash and it was terrible. My doctor switched me to a gentler cream and it's worked a lot better. You should probably talk to your doctor about it.

Be careful with steroids. I had to stop because my skin got thinner and I started getting stretch marks. It's not worth the risk for me.

When I started using Topicort, I had terrible burning and itching. I switched to a different cream and my skin calmed right down. I think it's not worth it if it causes bad side effects like that.

I used Topicort for a while and it worked great for my psoriasis, but yeah, the burning can be intense. I found that applying a thin layer helped reduce the irritation. Stick with it for a few more days and see how it goes.

I had a bad reaction to it, with severe dizziness and muscle weakness. I had to stop using it immediately and hadn't even been on it for a week.. Definitely talk to your doctor if you start feeling weird.
