I've been prescribed Tramadol HCl ER 100mg for chronic pain management. The extended-release formula is convenient, but I'm curious about others' experiences with side effects. Has anyone else dealt with serious issues like serotonin syndrome or Stevens-Johnson syndrome? What should I watch out for? How do you manage the more common side effects like dizziness and constipation? Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated!

Has anyone experienced severe constipation? I’ve tried increasing fiber and drinking more water, but it’s still pretty rough.

I had to switch meds because of the dizziness. It was just too much. Sometimes the side effects are just too hard to deal with.

I’ve been really careful with this one because of the potential for serotonin syndrome. I avoid other meds that can interact and haven't had any major issues. Just be vigilant, folks.

I've been on Tramadol HCl ER for a few months now, and the dizziness was pretty bad at first. I found that taking it with food helped a lot. Also, try to stay hydrated as it can cause constipation.

I've been on Tramadol for a year now, and while I do get some drowsiness, it's manageable. I just take it before bed, and it works fine for my chronic pain. The constipation can be tough, but I go to the doctor regularly to get my doses adjusted as needed.

I was really nervous about the side effects, but so far, so good. Just be aware of the signs and talk to your doctor if anything feels off.

Definitely be aware of the signs of serotonin syndrome. I took this with another medication and it was a nightmare. I had fever, confusion, and rapid heartbeat. It was scary.
