I recently started taking Trandate 200mg Tablets (Labetalol) for my high blood pressure. The doctor explained that it works by relaxing blood vessels and slowing down the heart rate to lower blood pressure. However, the list of potential side effects seems quite concerning. Has anyone else taken this medication? I'd love to hear about your experiences, and any tips for managing side effects if they occur. I know it's important to take it regularly, but I'm a bit nervous about the possible side effects.

The lack of appetite was rough, but it did help with my blood pressure a lot, so I made sure to force myself to eat. Also, if you're worried, maybe give your doctor a call before stopping the medication. I just feel like it's safer to get proactive medical advice, rather than trying to figure stuff out by yourself.

I was on Trandate for a while, and it worked great for my blood pressure. I did get a bit of a tingling sensation on my scalp, which was weird but not too bad. I'd say give it a shot, but definitely talk to your doctor if you feel any of the serious side effects.

I wish I had known about the erectile dysfunction side effect before I took it. I had to do some quick rearranging of my personal life until it got better, but it did go away eventually. Sorry if that's TMI, but figured you should know!

I've been on Trandate for a few months and haven't experienced any severe side effects. Just a bit of dizziness at first, but that went away after a week. Stick with it, and if you feel any of the urgent side effects, go to the hospital right away.

I've had some pretty bad liver issues on some drugs, but never with Trandate. But wow, why are these side effects so scary?

I'm on it now, and it's been a lifesaver. My blood pressure was through the roof, and this has really brought it down. No side effects for me so far, but I'll definitely keep an eye out for those serious ones

I had a friend who took this and had heart problems. Definitely not worth the risk.

I've heard that taking it with food can help with the upset stomach. Also, stay hydrated—it can help with the dizziness. Just don't forget to take it regularly as prescribed. Good luck!
