I've been prescribed Tranxene-T 3.75mg Tablets for seizure control, but I'm a bit worried about the potential side effects. The medication guide lists some serious symptoms to watch out for, like changes in eyesight, balance, or even suicidal thoughts. Has anyone else experienced these side effects? How did you manage them? Also, what about the less serious side effects? I've heard drowsiness and fatigue are common, but are there any tips for coping with these issues?

I was worried about the suicidal thoughts side effect, but my psychiatrist assured me that it's really rare. I know it's still an extreme risk, but it's not something we should worry about too much. Just stay in touch with your doctor and you'll be fine.

I've been on Tranxene-T for a few months now. The dizziness was pretty bad at first, but it got better over time. Just be careful when you first start taking it.

This is a bit of a hot take, but I think it's a bit dangerous that a medication can cause suicidal thoughts, but it's still prescribed to people. I was prescribed this medication and it's just so scary to me that it could cause that side effect. I'd rather have seizures and be sane.

I took Tranxene-T for a short period of time and I got a rash that looked like it could've been an allergic reaction. I stopped taking it and went to the doctor immediately. Turns out it wasn't a reaction to the medication but it was still scary. I would highly recommend being aware of all the symptoms and just checking with a doctor if something feels off.

I've had some pretty intense balance issues. I would love to know if anyone has tips for dealing with that. It's pretty scary when you feel like you can't trust your body to stay upright when you're standing.

Be super careful with this one. I had a friend who had a severe reaction to benzodiazepines and ended up in the ER. It's not worth the risk if you can avoid it.

One thing that really helped me was to take the medication right before bed. That way, the drowsiness wasn't so bad during the day and it actually helped me sleep better. Just a thought!

I'm on a medication that is similar to Tranxene-T. It has some of the same side effects, but the side effects I've been experiencing have not been a big deal. It's crazy how everyone reacts differently to medication.
