I've been using Travoprost 0.004% Ophth Drops for a few months now to manage my glaucoma, and while it's been effective in lowering my eye pressure, I've noticed some side effects that I'm not sure about. Has anyone else experienced changes in their eyelash growth or darkening of the eyelids? I've also heard about the potential for eye color changes—has anyone else dealt with that? I'm curious to know if these side effects are common and if they go away over time. Also, I've been wondering if anyone has tips for managing the dryness and irritation that comes with these drops.

I was worried about the potential for allergic reactions since I'm allergic to so many things, but luckily I haven't had any issues with Travoprost. Just be cautious and keep an eye out for any signs of a reaction.

I've been on Travoprost for about a year now, and I can confirm that the eyelash changes are real! Mine got darker and thicker, but it didn't bother me too much. The dryness is a bit of a pain, but using artificial tears helps a lot. Just make sure to wait at least 5 minutes between using the drops and the artificial tears.

Is anyone else having trouble with the application? I find it hard to get the drop in without blinking and wasting it.

I switched to Travoprost from another glaucoma medication because it was more effective, but the side effects were a bit of a shock. My eyelashes grew so much that people started commenting on them. I had to start trimming them regularly. Also, my eyelids got darker, which was unexpected. Overall, though, it's worth it to keep my eye pressure down. The dryness was a bit annoying, but it went away after a few weeks.
