I recently started taking Trazodone 300mg Tablets for insomnia, and I've had mixed experiences. The medication has helped me sleep better, but I've also noticed some side effects. I've read that Trazodone is also used to treat depression and affects serotonin levels in the brain. Has anyone else had success with it for depression? I'm curious about the long-term effects and if anyone has experienced severe side effects. I've heard about serotonin syndrome and priapism, but I'm hoping to avoid those. What are your thoughts and experiences?

I took Trazodone for a while and it helped with my insomnia, but the side effects were too much for me. The serotonin syndrome is no joke. Don't ignore any weird symptoms.

The constipation is real. I've had to start drinking a lot more water and eating more fiber to deal with it. But Trazodone has been a game-changer for my insomnia.

I've been on Trazodone for a while and it's been a lifesaver for my insomnia. The drowsiness is a bit tough to deal with during the day, but I've adjusted my schedule to accommodate it. Just make sure to talk to your doctor about any side effects you experience.

I've been reading up on serotonin syndrome, and it sounds terrifying. If you start feeling agitated or confused, get to a doctor ASAP. It's better to be cautious.

I've had some weird dreams since starting Trazodone. They're not scary but just really vivid. Anyone else experiencing this?

I'm on Trazodone for sleep and it's been amazing. I went from waking up every hour to sleeping through the night. The only downside is I feel a bit jittery in the morning, but it's worth it.

A solid amount of people have experienced this priapism. I've heard it's a real thing. It's scary but has been rare. It's important to talk to your doctor if you have any concerns at all. Always better safe than sorry.

Has anyone tried increasing the dosage? I'm thinking about asking my doctor if it's safe to go up to 500mg. Any advice?

Beware of the priapism side effect. It's rare, but it can be really serious. If you experience an erection lasting more than 4 hours, go to the ER immediately. Trust me, it's better to be safe.

I started taking Trazodone for depression and it's helped a lot. The side effects have been manageable, mostly just dry mouth and dizziness. It's worth it for the improved mood and better sleep.
