I was recently prescribed Trecator 250mg Tablets to treat my drug-resistant TB, I know it's not a walk in the park, but I'm hopeful. The side effects are scary, but my doctor assures me that they're rare. Has anyone else taken this and can share their experience, Particularly with the side effects? Let's support each other through this.

I'm on my third month of Trecator. The side effects are brutal, but I'm pushing through. My doctor says the liver issues are rare, but I'm keeping an eye out for dark urine. Fingers crossed everyone else has a smooth journey.

I had to switch from Trecator because of the side effects. I've heard so many horror stories. Thank goodness for other options, though. Still, I'm rooting for you. Just do what's best. If you can't handle it, get the help you need.

I've been on Trecator for TB for a few months and don't even have a metallic taste. I know I'm lucky, but I'm also extremely careful. I have a daily routine where I check for all the bad symptoms. As long as you listen to your body and trust your doctor, you'll do fine.

I've been taking Trecator for two months now and the only thing I've noticed is a bit of dizziness. I just make sure to take it with food and drink plenty of water. It seems to help. If you feel good and trust your doctor, you'll be fine. Good luck and hang in there.

I was prescribed Trecator but was so scared of the side effects that I didn't take it. I found out about some issues with low thyroid so I stopped taking it. It was a very long and hard decision to make. Did anyone else have this issue?

I had a friend who took this. It was a nightmare for him. He had all the side effects mentioned. Not sure how he survived. My advice? Be extra careful and keep in touch with your doctor.

I'm on my second week and I already feel different. It's hard but you got this. I take it with food and drink lots of water. It's key. Good luck to all of you!

Absolutely, keep your doctor in the loop. My husband was prescribed Trecator, and his doctor has been a lifesaver. He's been through hell with the side effects, but he's still standing. It’s a tough journey, but with the right support, you can conquer it.

I took Trecator for a year. It was rough, but it worked. The metallic taste was awful, but the worst was the dizziness. I couldn't drive for a while, but it was worth it to beat TB. Stick with it if you can.
