I've been using Tretinoin 0.05% Cream for the past three months to treat my acne and improve skin texture. I've noticed some significant changes, but the journey hasn't been without challenges. Initially, I experienced quite a bit of irritation and dryness, which is common according to the side effects list. However, I've found that applying a moisturizer before bed helps to mitigate these issues. I'm interested in hearing from others who have used this medication. What tips do you have for managing side effects? Have any of you seen noticeable improvements in acne or skin texture? I'd love to hear your experiences and any advice you might have.

I've heard that using sunscreen daily is crucial when on Tretinoin. My dermatologist recommended a broad-spectrum sunscreen with at least SPF 30. Has anyone else found this helpful?

I started using Tretinoin a few months ago and it has been a game-changer for my acne. I had some initial irritation but after a few weeks things calmed down and my skin looks way better. I use a gentle cleanser before application to help with dryness and that seems to work well

A friend of mine who also uses tretinoin told me that applying the cream to dry skin can help reduce the irritation. I'll say it worked for me so far. Has anyone tried this?

I just started using it and it's a bit rough. My skin is super dry and peeling. Is this normal? I didn't expect it to be this bad.

I've been using Tretinoin for a while and I find that incorporating a gentle exfoliator into my routine helps a lot. It keeps my pores clear and my skin smooth. I use it once a week and it's made a big difference.
