Tretinoin 0.05% Gel 45gm: My Experience with This Acne and Anti-Aging Marvel
I've been using Tretinoin 0.05% Gel for about three months now, and I have to say, it's a game-changer. I started noticing improvements in my acne within a few weeks, and my skin texture has seriously smoothed out. I've also seen some reduction in fine wrinkles and dark spots, which is a huge plus. However, the initial adjustment period was rough. My skin went through a Phase of purging where it got worse before it got better. I also experienced some dryness and irritation, but my dermatologist advised me to stick with it. I'd love to hear from others who have used this product, especially if you've had similar experiences or tips on how to manage the side effects. Update: I ran out of my Tretinoin and my pores look and feel dirtier, so I'm definitely going to buy again!

Ditto on the purging phase. It's like my skin had a nervous breakdown before it got better. Stick with it and use a good moisturizer! My skin is so much clearer now, and my pores are tiny. I wish I had taken a picture of my skin before and after. It's like night and day.
Be patient with it. The purging phase sucks, but it's worth it in the end. And moisturize, moisturize, moisturize. I use a heavy duty moisturizer from the moment I wake up, and again after washing my face in the evening. Sometimes I even apply it before going to bed
I've had a mix of good and bad experiences with tretinoin. My acne has definitely cleared up but at the cost of hairs that never falls out and seem to clump together and and appear wavy, I've never had an issue like this before and I have no idea how to fix it. I need help!
I've been on Tretinoin for a year now, and it's been a rollercoaster. The first few months were rough with intense purging, but now my skin is clearer than ever. Definitely worth the wait!
I've been using Tretinoin for about 6 months now, and it's been a game-changer for my acne. I also noticed that my fine lines and wrinkles have improved significantly. It was rough in the beginning, but it's so worth it now. My skin feels so much smoother and even. I wish I had started using it sooner! If your skin is too dry, try using a really thick moisturizer or a barrier repair cream. I used CeraVe and it saved my life
I tried Tretinoin and it just wasn't for me, the dryness was unbearable and it made my acne worse. I wish it would've worked but I couldn't handle the side effects. It's too bad, I heard so many good things about it, but I guess our bodies are all different.
I've been using it for a while now, and I love it but man... the dryness is killer. I’ve tried a bunch of different moisturizers, but nothing seems to help. It's like my skin is begging for mercy, lol. Has anyone found a holy grail moisturizer yet?
I'm on my second tube of this stuff and I have noticed that my skin has been a lot less oily- it almost feels normal now, but the redness I got from it never went away and I am worried that it will scar. It sucks because it works very well but I have to put up with all of these side effects. It is a lot to deal with and it is so frustrating.
I started using Tretinoin a few weeks ago and my skin is soooo dry. Like, desert-level dry. Any tips on moisturizers that work well with this stuff? I thought vaseline was the best idea but I've read that I need something that is chemical-free
