I recently started taking Tretinoin 10mg capsules for Acute Promyelocytic Leukemia (APL) treatment. I've noticed a few side effects and was wondering if anyone else has experienced similar issues. The medication is a game-changer, as it helps my abnormal blood cells mature and function normally, but the side effects can be challenging. I've been dealing with some dizziness, skin irritation, and dry mouth. I also had a scary moment with severe headache and dizziness where I thought it could be high or low blood pressure. I'm curious to hear from others about their experiences and how they managed these side effects. Are there any tips or tricks to cope with these issues? Also, has anyone experienced more severe side effects, and if so, how did you handle them?

Be cautious with this medication, the side effects can be severe. I had to be hospitalized because of severe abdominal swelling and irregular heartbeat. I was terrified. Now I keep a close eye on any signs of infection or bleeding. I make sure to check in with my doctor regularly and report any unusual symptoms right away. I've also been staying hydrated and making sure to eat a balanced diet, as it has helped with some of the side effects.

I think it's important to remember that everyone's experience is different. I haven't had any major issues with Tretinoin, just some mild dizziness and fatigue. I take it easy during the day and make sure to get plenty of rest. I also experienced some mouth sores and dry mouth. I chew gum and drink water regularly which helps.

My doctor warned me about the side effects, but I didn't realize how tough they would be. I've been dealing with some skin irritation and dryness. I've started using a heavy moisturizer and it’s made a big difference. Also, for the fatigue, I've been taking short naps during the day. It's been a struggle, but I know it's worth it in the end. I had a scare with severe headache and dizziness and ended up in the ER. Turned out it was a fluctuation in my blood pressure, but it was terrifying. Just be vigilant and pay attention to your body. I also experienced some nausea and headaches. Ginger tea and ibuprofen have been lifesavers.

I had to stop taking Tretinoin because of the severe mood swings. I was constantly feeling down and anxious. It was tough. I felt like I was always on the verge of a breakdown. I told my doctor about it and we both decided it might be best to stop taking the drug. I still have APL, but there are other treatments we can try. Hang in there, guys. We got this.

I've been on Tretinoin for a few months now, and the side effects have been tough. I've had some serious headaches, and my doctor had to adjust my dose. I also experienced some bruising that looked concerning, but it turned out to be a minor issue. I paid close attention to the side effects and reported any changes to my doctor right away. It’s important to stay vigilant and take care of yourself.

I've heard horror stories about Tretinoin, but I haven't experienced any major issues. Just some minor hair loss, but my doctor said that happens. And it’s important to remember that everyone responds differently to medication.

I've been on Tretinoin for a while now and the hair loss was the toughest part for me. It's great that the medication is working, but losing hair was a real bummer. I started using a gentle shampoo and conditioner and it helped a bit. Also, I wear a hat most of the time now. Also, the mood swings were tough to handle, but my doctor adjusted my dose and it helped a lot. I'd recommend keeping an open dialogue with your healthcare provider to manage these side effects.
