I've been struggling with acne for years and recently started using Tretinoin Micro 0.1% Gel. I wish someone had told me to start slow with this stuff. I jumped in too fast and my skin freaked out. Now I'm down to 2-3 times a week and it's doing wonders.
I've been using Tretinoin Micro for about 3 months now, and it has made a significant difference in my skin. It did take a bit of time to get used to the initial irritation, but my acne has definitely improved. You should give it a shot, just make sure you're using it correctly. I apply it every other night and always moisturize afterwards which helps with the dryness and redness
Don't forget to always wear sunscreen with this stuff! It makes your skin super sensitive to the sun.
I feel like everyone’s experience with Tretinoin is different. My skin didn’t get irritated at all, but I have very dry skin to begin with and I can’t imagine people with oily skin can say the same thing
I tried Tretinoin Micro, and it was a disaster. My skin was so irritated and red. I had to stop. What was interesting though, is that the irritation was much less when I used it in the morning rather than at night. But it still wasn’t enough to continue using it.
I use Tretinoin Micro alongside a strong moisturizer and a gentle cleanser. My skin took a bit of time to adjust, but now it’s cooler than ever!
I really hate how expensive these topicals are. But at least the micro formulation seems to run out slower than other versions, so there’s that?
