I've been prescribed Paxil CR 12.5mg Tablets for my depression and anxiety. I've heard it can be quite effective, but I'm also a bit nervous about the side effects. The 'Controlled-Release' aspect seems interesting, as it releases the medicine slowly over time. I've read about potential serotonin syndrome and other urgent side effects, so I want to be prepared. Has anyone else taken this medication? How was your experience? What side effects did you encounter, and did you find them manageable? Did you notice any specific benefits? Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated!

I was on Paxil CR for a few months and it helped with my depression, but the weight loss was intense. I lost about 15 pounds in two months without even trying. It wasn't really a good experience for me.

I had to switch off Paxil CR because of severe dizziness. It was unbearable and made daily activities really hard. I felt off balance and super dizzy all the time. It wasn't worth it for me, but I know it can work for others.

Paxil CR got me through a rough patch after a divorce. It took a while to get used to, but the side effects were manageable. I actually found the sexual side effects to be a minor issue compared to feeling like myself again.

I had no idea about the controlled-release aspect. That sounds like it could make a big difference in how the medication works. I'll have to look into it.

I personally found Paxil CR to be a game-changer. The controlled-release mechanism really helped with keeping my mood stable throughout the day. I didn't experience any severe side effects, but everyone is different. Don't give up if the first few weeks are tough.

I'm on Paxil CR now and it's been okay so far. Just got a few headaches and stomach issues but nothing too bad.
