I've been prescribed Trifluoperazine 10mg Tablets for severe anxiety, and I wanted to share my experience so far. The medication is part of the phenothiazine antipsychotics group and works by helping balance certain natural chemicals in the brain. I've heard some mixed reviews about it, so I'm curious to know if anyone else has been on this treatment and what their experience has been like. Also, does anyone have any advice on managing the side effects? I've been a bit dizzy and sleepy, but I'm wondering if that will subside over time or if there are any tips to handle it better. Thanks in advance for sharing.

If anyone is scared about tardive dyskinesia, it's rare but real. The risk goes up if you have diabetes or are an older female. Be aware of the signs so you can act fast if you notice them.

I took this for a while and it helped with anxiety but it messed with my sleep so bad. Unsure if I'll go back to it.

I've been on this for schizophrenia and it's helped a lot. But yeah, the side effects can be rough. I found that staying hydrated and eating small, frequent meals helped with the dizziness.

I'm sorry to hear about the side effects. It's important to communicate with your doctor. Sometimes, dosage adjustments or switching to a similar medication with fewer side effects can make a big difference. Don't suffer in silence!
