I recently started taking Trijardy XR 12.5/2.5mg/1000mg Tabs as part of my treatment plan for type 2 diabetes. I was prescribed this combination medication to help improve my blood sugar control, and so far, I've noticed some improvements. However, I've also experienced some side effects that I wanted to share and discuss with others who might be taking or considering this medication. The combination of empagliflozin, linagliptin, and metformin seems to be doing its job, but I've had some issues with kidney problems and urinary tract infections. I've had to adjust my eating habits and drinking habits to accommodate the changes. I am hoping to find some advice from others. The side effects listed in the documentation are extensive, and though I've noticed some, I wanted to see if others had similar experiences or found ways to mitigate these issues.

My doctor told me to watch out for signs of pancreatitis. It's scary to think about, but I'm glad I know what to look out for.

This drug is a lifesaver! I've had type 2 diabetes for years, and Trijardy XR has finally given me the control I need. Just make sure to stay on top of your doctor's appointments and communicate any issues you're having.

I've had to deal with some really uncomfortable yeast infections since starting this medication, but my doctor said it's a known side effect. Anyone else have this issue?

I had a really bad UTI and kidney issues at the start but it seemed to stabilize after a few weeks. Stick it out but if it gets too bad speak to your doctor, they may be able to tweak your dosage

I've been on Trijardy XR for a few months now and it's been great. I've had some mild side effects but nothing too bad. My blood sugar levels have been much more stable, and I feel better overall. Definitely worth it, in my opinion.

I wish I had known about the increased risk of low blood sugar before starting this medication. I've had a few scary episodes where I felt really dizzy and shaky. Be sure to keep glucose tablets on hand, just in case.

What's the deal with the fluid and electrolyte problems? I've heard it can be really serious. Anyone else worried about this?

I started taking Trijardy XR a month ago and I've had some really bad joint pain. I'm really concerned. Has anyone else had this issue?

Make sure to take this medication with food to avoid any nausea. I learned that the hard way. Also, drink lots of water!

I've been on Trijardy XR for a while now and it's been a game-changer for my blood sugar control. I did experience some mild side effects at first, like a bit of a headache and some diarrhea, but they've subsided. Just make sure to stay hydrated and eat well.
