I've recently been prescribed Drisdol 50,000 IU (D2, Ergo) Caps to treat my severe vitamin D deficiency. I've read about the potential side effects, but I'm interested in hearing from others who have taken this dosage.

I understand it helps absorb calcium and phosphorus, which are essential for strong bones and overall health—especially important for me to treat and prevent bone conditions but I'm concerned about allergic reactions and what to expect during my treatment.

What was your experience like? Did you follow any specific diet or lifestyle changes alongside the medication? Any tips on managing side effects or knowing when to call the doctor? I'm really interested in hearing your journey and would love any advice or encouragement you can offer.

I was reluctant to take it at first because of the potential side effects, but it turned out to be a game-changer for me. Just make sure to follow your doctor's instructions to the letter. I recommend taking it with a meal to reduce any stomach discomfort.

I took Drisdol for a few months after my doctor found out I was severely deficient. It was a bit unnerving at first, but I didn't experience any major side effects. Just make sure to take it as prescribed and keep an eye out for signs of an allergic reaction. It's always better to be safe!

I took Drisdol for a few months and noticed a significant improvement in my bone density. There are also other activities you can do to boost Vitamin D absorption besides diet and walking. Try adding some strength training to your routine—it can really help. The only side effect I noticed was a mild case of nausea, but it subsided quickly.

I had a friend who took Drisdol and had a weird rash. Turned out it was an allergic reaction. Make sure you're monitoring yourself closely, especially in the first few weeks.
