Tusnel-DM Liquid Pediatric Drops: Effective for Cold Symptoms or Too Risky with Possible Side Effects?
I gave my 5-year-old Tusnel-DM Liquid Pediatric Drops for the first time last night. It's a mix of guaifenesin, pseudoephedrine and dextromethorphan and it really helped with her cough and stuffy nose. However, I'm a bit worried about the possible side effects, especially the severe ones. Has anyone else used this? How did it go? What side effects did you notice, if any? I want to make sure I'm doing the right thing for my little one.

I have the same problem with another combo medicine. I spoke with doctor and they told me that every pediatric cough medicine has something like that and to watch out for the same signs you shared, like trouble swallowing or breathing. Stay safe and be careful.
My son took it once and the next day he seemed really dizzy. We skipped it after that. Just be cautious, everyone.
Be careful with the dosage. Too much can cause some serious issues. Always double-check with your pediatrician.
I've used it a few times and haven't had any issues. It worked well for my kid's cough. Fingers crossed it stays that way.
My kid had trouble sleeping after taking it. Maybe it was a coincidence, but I decided to switch to a different medicine just to be safe.
