Tyvaso DPI 32mcg is a game-changer for managing pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH), but it comes with a laundry list of side effects. From severe allergic reactions to jaw pain and diarrhea, the trade-offs are significant. After doing some research, I'm curious to hear from other PAH patients and caregivers. Are the benefits worth the risk? How do you manage the side effects? Have any of you reported side effects to the FDA yet? Let's discuss, and hopefully, some of us can learn a thing or two! Thanks!.

I started Tyvaso last week and I'm already feeling the urge to puke. Is this normal? Anyone else experience this?

Have any of you tried using a spacer with the Tyvaso inhaler? I've been having trouble getting the full dose, and I wonder if that might help.

I've been on Tyvaso for over a year now, and I've had no major side effects. I think it depends on the individual and how their body reacts to the medication.

I had to stop using Tyvaso because of the severe bleeding issues. It was terrifying. My doctor switched me to a different medication, and I'm doing much better now.

My doctor mentioned that some patients have had success with adjusting the dosage. It might be worth talking to your doctor about if you're experiencing severe side effects.

I've been on Tyvaso for 6 months, and it's been a godsend. My six minute walk test improved by 150 feet! But yeah, the jaw pain is brutal. I chew gum before my treatments, and it helps a ton.

The flushing is the worst part for me. I look like a tomato after treatment. But the benefits far outweigh the discomfort.

My mom is on Tyvaso, and she's had some nasty bouts of diarrhea. We've started using Imodium regularly, and it's made a huge difference.

I had a severe allergic reaction to Tyvaso. I woke up with hives all over my body. Don’t mess around with this medication. If you experience even mild symptoms, don’t wait: immediately contact your doctor or go to the ER.
