I've been prescribed Uceris 2mg/actuation Rectal Foam for my ulcerative colitis and I'm a bit nervous about the potential side effects. The foam is applied directly into the rectum, which is less invasive than pills, but I'm still wary. I've read about the possibility of serious side effects, such as allergic reactions, high blood sugar, and infections. Has anyone else had experience with this medication? How has it worked for you? Any tips on managing side effects or application? I'm really curious to hear from others who have used Uceris Rectal Foam. Also, does anyone know if side effects like fever and chills are common? I'm really hoping to avoid anything like that.

I had a similar experience with the foam. It's awkward to use at first, but you get the hang of it. I had some skin changes like acne, but my doctor assured me it was manageable. Just make sure to report any unusual symptoms to your healthcare provider!

Has anyone else noticed any changes in vision? I've had some blurry vision lately, and I'm not sure if it's related to the Uceris. This is scary stuff.

Allergic reactions are rare, but it's important to be aware of the signs. If you experience any symptoms like rash, hives, or difficulty breathing, seek medical help immediately. I experienced some minor upset stomach, but it was manageable with some adjustments in my diet. Just be cautious and monitor your body closely.

I've been using Uceris for a while now, and honestly, it's been a game-changer. Just make sure to talk to your doctor if you have any concerns. They're there to help, and they can provide a lot of reassurance. My gastroenterologist is fantastic and always ready to help out anytime.

If you do end up experiencing side effects, make sure to keep a log of everything. It really helps your doctor understand what's going on and how to adjust your treatment accordingly. The key is close observation and communication.

I've had to deal with painful urination a couple of times, it's not fun. But make sure you go get tested. It could be an infection, and you don't want that to linger.
