I had to stop taking Unithroid because of severe side effects. I ended up switching to a different medication, and it's been much better for me. Everyone is different, so don't give up if one medication doesn't work out.
I had terrible mood swings when I first started. But my doctor adjusted the dose, and now I feel much better. Stick with it, and work closely with your doctor.
I feel like this medication has been a lifesaver. I was constantly tired and gaining weight no matter what I did. Now, I have so much more energy and my metabolism feels back to normal.
Unithroid saved my life, literally. Before I was diagnosed, I was constantly tired, gained a ton of weight, and felt like I was always freezing. Now, I feel like a normal person again. It's a game-changer.
I've been on Unithroid for about 6 months now, and it took me about 2-3 months to start feeling better. It's a slow process, but it's worth it. I had some hair loss at the beginning, but it grew back after a few months. Hang in there.
I've read about taking iron supplements alongside Unithroid. Anyone found that helpful?

Be careful with the dosage. I had to go through several adjustments before finding the right one. Also, make sure to take it on an empty stomach for maximum absorption.
