Unithroid 0.175mg (175mcg) Tablets are a synthetic thyroid hormone used to treat hypothyroidism and goiter. They replace the hormone normally produced by your thyroid gland, helping to regulate your body’s metabolism. This medication is crucial for maintaining overall health and well-being. However, like any medication, it comes with potential side effects that can range from mild to severe. Understanding these side effects and knowing when to seek medical help is vital for anyone taking this medication. I've been on Unithroid for a few months now, and while it's been effective, I've experienced some mild side effects like hair loss and mood changes. Has anyone else had similar experiences? Any tips on managing these side effects?

I've noticed some serious changes in my menstrual cycle since starting Unithroid. I'm going to talk to my doctor about it soon. Has anyone else experienced this? I'd love to know if its something I need to worry about.

I started Unithroid a few weeks ago and have been feeling really anxious and restless. My doctor said it's a common side effect and should go away in a few weeks. Anyone else experienced this?

I had a panic attack a few minutes after taking Unithroid. My heart was pounding, I felt dizzy, and I had some chest pain. I went to the ER and they ran a bunch of tests and they said I was fine. They gave me some meds and a prescription to treat anxiety and panic attacks.

It might be helpful if you don't take it with your morning coffee. I'm not sure if its the case for you, but it can cause anxiety.
