Unprotected sex? We talk about Her Style 1.5mg Tablet
In a world where accidents happen, knowing about emergency contraception tools is invaluable. Especially for those who have lost access to regular birth control, or have had a contraception failure, the Her Style 1.5mg tablet provides an essential backup plan. I have heard of some women having such intense side effects that they were hospitalized, but others saying it's a breeze, is anyone familiar with the typical side effects? What's the deal with the severe stomach pain, I know nausea or cramping is not uncommon, but what about severe? It really sounds scary, and I've heard that the hangover effect can last a few days. I want to know if anyone has any advice on preparing for this, I'd like to make sure I can function and not be bedridden after taking it. Does anyone have tips to help me get through this if I have to use it? Bonus if you have experienced it yourself and can share your story! They say it stops ovulation, but can't it still affect the chances of getting pregnant if you ovulate later in the cycle? Honestly, I am just a bit nervous about the risks of side effects as I am a pretty light person and the stories I've heard about the intense side effects are scary. Thank goodness it does not protect against STIs, though — as an added benefit, we can be reminded to get STI tested regularly.

I've noticed that some people have had side effects lasting a few days. I think it's also important to note that while Her Style is effective, it's not 100% foolproof. It's always best to use a reliable form of birth control regularly.
Interesting thought about the possibility of ovulating later in the cycle I wonder if it has been studied to see the effect on it. I know that with my family. I have had so many stories of women having their periods affected but mostly just changed the flow, not the cycle length.
I took Her Style last year after contraception failure, and it was brutal. I felt like I had the worst hangover of my life for two days. I had to take time off work because I was so dizzy and nauseous.
Does anyone know if the side effects are worse if you take it multiple times in a short period? I've heard mixed things about that.
Good question - I feel like so many have rarely needed to use the morning after pill but I've been taking it regularly for a year now. Sometimes I can get the worst hangover of my life and other times it's just nothing. Also, I have heard stories about throat swelling, sounds extremely scary, but I think it is very rare. I just hope I never experience it.
I agree with the above comment. I took Her Style a few months ago after my partner and I had unprotected sex. I was really nervous about the side effects, but I only had a bit of cramping and a mild headache. It was totally manageable, and I was glad to have the option. Might be good to have some old ibuprofen around, though.
