I've recently been prescribed Uptravi 600mcg Tablets for my pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH). It's been a game-changer for my ability to exercise, but I'm curious to hear from others who have taken this medication. Have you experienced any major side effects, or has it been smooth sailing? I've heard about some scary side effects. I've already had a few headaches and some mild diarhea. It’s much better than the other meds I was on, but what has your experience been like? Also, how have you managed some of the more uncomfortable side effects? I’ve heard that some people experience jaw and muscle pain, but I haven’t had that yet. I'd love to hear your thoughts and experiences!

Yes, I just tried it. It made me feel so weak and tired. I heard the side effects are pretty bad for most people, but I didn't expect them to be so severe. I had to switch back to my old medication after a few weeks.

Has anyone else had trouble with insurance covering Uptravi? It's been a nightmare for me. I also experienced a lot of flushing and muscle pain. The pain hit about 20-30 minutes after each pill, but it helped the legs and arms.

I switched to Uptravi 4 months ago. I’ve had muscle and joints pain bad. I’m thankful I don’t have the diarrhea, but If I did, I’d rather have that over the muscle and joint pain. I’m so thankful I finally have something that works. I could not walk 100 feet. I can now walk 3 city blocks

I've had a mixed experience with Uptravi. On one hand, it's significantly improved my ability to breathe and exercise, but on the other hand, the side effects have been tough. I've had some pretty severe headaches, and the jaw pain was so bad I had to take extra breaks. But if it wasn’t for the side effects, I would be skipping through mountains. You have to weigh the benefits and risks.

This thread is a good call out of the benefits, but I think the side effects are far more dangerous than most think. I've heard jaw pain, sense of being extremely tired and weak and even trouble breathing are common. What are you're thoughts? I stopped 2 weeks in, the stress of the side effects outweighed the benefits
