I've been struggling with dry, flaky skin for years, and my dermatologist recommended Urea 10% Lotion. It's supposed to help my skin hold onto water and remove dead skin cells. I've seen some mixed reviews online, so I'm wondering if anyone else has tried this and what their experience has been? Specifically, I'm curious about any side effects people might have encountered, especially if they're not mentioned in the product information. Is the burning or stinging normal or is it a sign that I should discontinue use? How long does it take for the skin to feel smooth and hydrated? Any tips on incorporating this into a skincare routine would also be greatly appreciated.

I've heard that urea can be a bit harsh on sensitive skin. Make sure to patch test before using it all over! Also, it's great for winter dryness, but it might be too strong for everyday use in warmer months.

I use it on my feet for the cracked heels. It works like a charm, but it does sting a little at first. Make sure to moisturize afterwards.

Urea lotion is amazing for dry, cracked hands, especially for those who work with their hands a lot. Just be careful if you have sensitive skin.

Urea 10% Lotion has been a game-changer for me! I use it every night, and my skin feels so much smoother. No side effects here, but I did notice a little stinging at first. My dermatologist said it was normal. Give it a few weeks and see how it goes.

I've been using it for a month now, and my skin is so much better. The itching was a bit bothersome, but it went away after a week. Just make sure to apply it to clean, dry skin and give it some time to absorb. Worth the patience!

I had no idea urea lotion could cause such severe reactions. I thought it was just a gentle moisturizer. Good to know about the potential side effects!

I tried it and had a severe allergic reaction. Rashes, itching, the whole nine yards. Definitely consult a doctor if you start experiencing anything like that, and stop using it immediately.

My aunt swears by this stuff. She uses it for her eczema flare-ups, and it helps a ton. Definitely worth trying if you have similar issues. Just go slow and pay attention to your skin's reaction.

I don't know why people are complaining about the smell! It smells like a spa day in a tube. Worth the price for the relaxation alone ;)
