Urin-DS Tablets: My Urine Turned Blue! Is This Normal?
I was prescribed Urin-DS Tablets for a urinary tract infection, and to my surprise, my urine turned blue! The pharmacist mentioned it might happen, but I'm still a bit freaked out. Is this a normal side effect, or should I be worried? Also, I've been feeling a bit dizzy since I started taking them. Should I be concerned about this? Can anyone share their experiences or advice?

Blue or green urine can be startling, but it's just the phenolphthalein in the medication. It's harmless but strange looking! Just make sure to drink plenty of water while on this med.

I took Urin-DS a few months back and my urine turned green! It was weird, but my doctor said it was totally normal. As for the dizziness, if it's mild, it might just be a side effect. But if it's severe or gets worse, definitely call your doctor.
Urin-DS is a lifesaver. I've had UTIs before and this one made my urine blue, but it worked so quickly and I felt back to normal within a day or two. Don't be alarmed by the color, just make sure to stay hydrated.
Dizziness could be a sign of dehydration. Make sure you're drinking enough water. If it persists, call your doctor.
Haha, don't worry! The blue urine is normal with Urin-DS. It's just the medication making your urine more acidic to fight the infection. I had the same thing happen to me.
I had a bad reaction to these. Got hives and had trouble breathing. Went to the ER and they said it was an allergic reaction. So please, if you have any trouble breathing or feel like your throat is closing up, get to the hospital ASAP.
I had the same thing happen and my doctor told me it was because it was making my urine more acidic to fight the infection. So it's normal!
I felt sleepy when I took these, but no dizziness. Maybe take them before bed?
