I was prescribed Uro-Pain Max Strength 99.5mg Tabs for a urinary tract infection, and while it helped with the pain, I experienced some side effects that I want to share with others. The medication worked quickly to numb the lining of my urinary tract, relieving the burning and urgency. However, I noticed some changes in my urine output and had a mild headache. I'm curious if anyone else has had similar experiences with this medication. Also, I've heard that it does not treat the infection itself, only the symptoms. Is there anyone who knows more about this? Does this drug have any long-term effects?

Did anyone else notice dark urine? I had it, and it was confusing until my doctor explained it was normal with this med. It was still unsettling to see, but it went away after a few days. Luckily, the headache was also minimal.

Has anyone else noticed their urine turning orange or red when taking this medication? It happened to me, and it was a bit alarming at first, but my doctor said it's a normal side effect. Since it only affects the urine color, it’s a good sign that the medication is working as it should. My side effects were minimal, just some stomach upset.

This stuff is a lifesaver for UTI symptoms, but the side effects are no joke. I had diarrhea and upset stomach the whole time I was on it. Made me wish I hadn't taken it. I’m lucky it was just a few days and not longer.

My doctor warned me about the possible signs of an allergic reaction. I had a swollen throat and trouble breathing. It was a nightmare, and I had to stop taking the medication immediately. I ended up going to the hospital and getting an antihistamine. It was a scary experience.

I've heard that this medicine doesn't treat the actual infection, only the symptoms. Is that true? I thought it was supposed to help with the infection itself, and I'm a bit disappointed if that's not the case. I wish I had known this before taking it.

I took this medication for a bladder infection and it helped with the discomfort. But I had a bad rash and couldn't stop itching. I had to stop taking it because it got so bad. Be careful with this medication. I really didn't need that stress on top of my infection.

I took Uro-Pain Max Strength and experienced severe dizziness and shortness of breath. I had to go to the ER because I thought I was having a heart attack. Turns out it was a rare side effect called methemoglobinemia. I had blue discoloration on my lips and nails, which was scary. Definitely something to be aware of.

I had a really bad experience with Uro-Pain Max Strength. I had a severe headache and vomiting, and I felt extremely tired. It was so bad that I couldn't even get out of bed. I had to stop taking it and go to the doctor.

I've taken Uro-Pain Max Strength before and found it to be pretty effective for UTI symptoms. The burning sensation went away within a few hours, making it bearable to wait for the antibiotics to kick in. But that said, they're not worth the side effects I had. I had a weird rash and felt really tired, so I'd definitely be cautious using it again.

I had a severe headache and vomiting after taking this med. I think the only positive is that it did help with the bladder pain for a bit. Still, I’d rather endure the UTI symptoms than ever take that stuff again.
